World’s First Niqabi Pilot Captain Shehnaz Laghari

We have seen various stories where Hijab is often presented  as a sign of backwardness.  and Muslim women are seen as backward.

This is a stereotype based on the fact that Hijab forbids  basic rights of women. we have seen numerous stories where Hijabi  women did amazing work. this story is also amongst one of them. this is the story of Muslim women from Pakistan.   She is a proud Muslim woman with Niqab.

She is Philanthropist social worker and also politician. She is in living example of women empowerment in Pakistan. She raised her voice for the upliftment of women and girl in Pakistan.

She is a proud mother of three children and an amazing person.  Captain Shehnaz is working dedicatedly and  providing equal opportunities to the girl belonging from the backward section of society in Pakistan .

Captain Shehnaz Laghari is the first Pakistani Hijabi female pilot who flew aircraft wearing veil. For this achievement her name was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

She is the only one in the world hailing from Pakistan and has her name in the Guinness Book of World Record. This shows that if one is determined, anything can be achieved and that also by staying within the boundaries of the religion.

She is also a good social worker in her community, and running few training centers to empower the women in the society. She is serving the women of Pakistan by opening free education centers and sewing centers for poor women in Pakistan.

She begun her political carrier as an independent leader and first contested in the General Elections-2013 from Lahore but could not succeed. According to the local media of Lahore Shahnaz joined Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) political party in May 2018.

Pakistan is generally considered as a male dominant country and in such a nation, a woman Captain Shehnaz Laghari is breaking the stereotype.

This really is an enormous achievement for a woman as Pakistani culture is considered to be male dominant and women are highly discouraged to engage in many activities.
